Melee….. Mela (fair) is an old tradition of Indian heritage. But you have heard many times in my small life span that in the melee of different Kumbh Melas, hundreds of people die every year. That might be God’s will!!!!!

Melee: a crowd of people rushing about in different directions & doing different things; scrimmage.

>> Mohit’s sister eloped in the melee of Kumbh Mela.
>> Diana lost her Diamond ring in the melee.
>> A verbal disagreement at the football game soon turned into a general melee involving scores of spectators
